Chairman PBIT appreciated the efforts of all exhibitors, participants and organizers and said you are contributing a major role in our economy and we want you to grow further and in this regard PBIT will provide all possible support to domestic industries for further growth and expansion.
In the exhibition, one of the stall of Air Force Thunder displayed and gave information with respect to their Mushsak trainer Aircraft and Thunder Aircraft which recently got very much famous all around the world after destroying Indian fighter plane. Heavy Mechanical Complex and Heavy Industries Taxila displayed and gave information with respect to their tanks and long and short range, fully and semi-automated weapons. Besides this different exporters showcased their products like Rice, Pulses, chips, noodles, garments etc. Manufacturers from different parts of the world such as China, Malaysia, and Indonesia currently manufacturing in Rawalpindi also showed and briefed about their products to Chairman PBIT.
On the occasion, Chairman PBIT appreciated the efforts of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and especially of Sohail Altaf. He further said that Sohail Altaf is a dynamic business man and it's due to his efforts that today Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce in progressing day by day and we also want it to progress further.
He said, we want our domestic industry to grow further and to increase their exports further through JV's and expansion, and PBIT will provide all possible support to them in this regard. He further said that Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar is very keen for further investments in Punjab, and he wants our local industry to grow further and play a pivotal role in increasing the Foreign Direct Investment in Punjab Region.
He further said, "As per vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan of 'Naya Pakistan' things are moving at a rapid pace and improving day by day in Punjab, whereas so far $3 billion investments are being made currently and further investments of $4-5 billion is in progress and you are seeing that Punjab is emerging as investment friendly province where PBIT's staff is working day and night to provide all possible support to their business community and InshAllah we will continue to do so, and in the coming times all of you will see a big difference and revolution with respect to boost in businesses in Punjab."
