A ceremony was held here on Tuesday to confer awards and medals to the officers and sailors of Pakistan Navy. According to spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mehmood Abbasi who was chief guest at the ceremony distributed the awards and medals among the recipients.

During the ceremony, 12 Commodores were awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), and eleven were awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military). 22 officers and jawans received Tamgha-e-Basaalat, 83 Master Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers and sailors received Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) while 69 officers, chief petting officers and navy civilians were given Chief of Naval Staff Letter of Appreciation.
