It said that PTBA was receiving information from tax practitioners across the country that large number of clients would like to avail the opportunity of becoming a tax filer, however many tax returns were under initial stage and may not be able to be filed within the given time. Therefore, PTBA requested the chairman FBR to extend the date of e-filing of tax returns for tax year 2018 by April 30, 2019.
