The emerging marketers' core team comprises of Sultan Ali Hamad, Sultan Hasan Al-Saadi and Faisal Abbas Chaudhry, in addition to Sheikh Faisal Al-Thani. The hospitality and real estate team will comprise of Hamad-Al Mulla CEO Katara Hospitality, Naveed Chamdia, head of QIA and Deven Arvind Karnik head of Infrastructure department in QIA whereas in energy sector, Khalid Jolo- CEO of Nebras Power will be part of the delegation.
On April 1, 2019, the delegation will call on Prime Minister, Imran Khan, Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Minister for Finance, Asad Umar and Prime Minister Advisor on Overseas, Zulfi Bukhari. Board of Investment (BoI) will give a presentation to the delegation in the presence of Prime Minister's Advisor on Commerce, Textile, Industries and Production and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood. Managing Director Fauji Foundation will also give a presentation to the delegation.
In addition, Secretary Power Division, Irfan Ali will give a presentation to the delegation in the presence of Minister for Energy, Minister for Housing. Secretary Housing will give presentation on energy sector, Minister for Tourism KP and Secretary Tourism Department GB will also give a briefing on tourism prospects in their areas. On April 2, 2019, Secretary Privatisation Muhammad Rizwan will highlight the upcoming privatisation projects; explore energy and hospitality/ hotels in presence of Minister for Privatisation.
Secretary Aviation Division/Civil Aviation Authority will give a presentation on investment opportunities in the presence of Minister for Aviation. Chairman PIA will give presentation on PIA's holding hotels and CEO, Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE); Richard Morin will highlight investment opportunities in the Pakistani bourse. The sources said Qatari delegation was scheduled to visit last month but the visit was shelved after the Pulwama attack and subsequent events.
