The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that an industrial estate will soon be established at Bahawalpur as there was ample raw material for agro-based industries in this region. He was talking a delegation of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its president Mubashir Hussain who called on him in Bahawalpur on Sunday and apprised him of their problems.

The CM said that the government has devised a comprehensive Industrial Policy to facilitate investors and industrialists. The investors should come forward and play their vital role for the industrial development of the province to provide employment to the unemployed youth and increase exports to curb the trade imbalance. Punjab government will provide them all facilities and incentives. The government has also set up a task force to increase the agriculture production.

Those who called on the CM included vice president Bahawalpur CCI M.Aslam, Vice President M. Waqas Malik, Secretary General Syed Ameer Haider and other officials. Provincial Ministers Sami Ullah Chaudary, Secretary Industry and Commissioner Bahawalpur division were also present in the meeting.

During his stay in Bahawalpur on Sunday, a delegation led by president Lahore Court Bar Bahawalpur bench Ahmad Mansoor Chishti also called on Sardar Usman Buzdar at Circuit house Bahawalpur.

The delegation included General Secretary Usman Mehmood, President District Bar Bahawalpur Naeem Bhatti, and General Secretary Ishfaq Ahmed. Provincial Minister Sami Ullah Chahdary, Spokesperson CM Punjab Dr. Shahbaz Gull and Commissioner Bahawalpur were also present on the occasion. The CM assured the delegation that issues of legal fraternity including the lawyers' colony will be solved on priority basis, He directed commissioner Bahawalpur to make an estimate of cost for construction and renovation of Library and building for District Bar.

He said that that he himself is a lawyer therefore understands problems of this fraternity that has played most prominent role for restoration of independent Judiciary and rule of law in the country. These efforts of lawyers are commendable. PTI government is determined to provide the common man quick justice and equal rights, he added.
