A meeting of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leadership and MPAs was held at Bilawal House in Karachi presided over by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP Parliamentarian President Asif Ali Zardari, says a press release issued by Bilawal House. The meeting reviewed arrangements and preparations for the mega public gathering on the occasion of forthcoming 11th Day of Martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to be commemorated at Garhi Khuda Bux, Larkana on December 27.

Addressing the meeting, former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari said that the adverse situations and hostile attitudes can't intimidate us because we have always defeated such situations in past and gained more strength from adverse atmosphere. He said that the adverse time that is apparently hovering is in fact not an adverse time but the real tough time was during the time of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, who courageously faced and defeated that tough time and all the adversaries. She stood against the Martial Law imposed by the Dictator Zia.

He said that all the allegations that the rivals have levelled against him are baseless and they can't intimidate us through fake documents. They should bear in mind that our level of tolerance and endurance is far greater than their tactical maneuvouring and atrocities. They would fall down in the end.

Addressing the meeting, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto would be commemorated with zeal and passion and during that period, a new strategy of the party would be set forth during the meeting of the party's Central Executive Committee.

He said that a conspiracy has been hatched for pushing the country towards the One Unit. Basic utilities such as gas and electric supply have been suspended while at the other, due shares of the provinces are also being withheld by the federation. In addition, a campaign has also been launched in support of construction of the disputed Kalabagh Dam.-PR
