Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive on Wednesday seized huge quantity of contraband flavoured tobaccos during two separate operations at Karachi. According to details, the action was taken in compliance with the directive of the Supreme Court. The anti-smuggling organization of MCC Preventive conducted two operations at Dansow hall and Empress Market Saddar against contraband flavoured tobaccos (Seesha) that causes cancer among youth.

The department during two separate raids recovered 207 packets or 129.5 kilograms of Seesha and flavoured charcoals worth Rs 2,49,000. Meanwhile, Muhammad Faisal Deputy Collector MCC Preventive said the enforcement drive against Seesha and its ingredients would continue to uproot this menace from the city.
