The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad recorded 122 percent extra revenue against assigned revenue collection target under all heads during month of October 2018. According to details shared by Majid Hussain Gadd the Deputy Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Head Quarter Islamabad that under guidance of Zulafaqar Ali Chaudhry Collector MCC Islamabad the Collectorate earned Rs 2380 million of revenue under all heads against assigned target of Rs 1952 million. He added that MCC received Rs 428 million extra collection during said period against assigned revenue target for the period under review.

Majid said that during month of October 2018, the Collectorate received Rs 728 million under head of Customs Duty against allocated revenue target of Rs 699 million whereas the MCC Islamabad received Rs 1115 million under head of Sales Tax as well as the Collectorate received Rs 892 million under other heads of taxes.

The MCC Islamabad received 125% extra revenue under head of Sales Tax against assigned revenue collection target. It is worth mentioning that MCC Islamabad earned Rs 953 million extra revenue under all heads against assigned revenue collection target for July to October (FY18-19), he added that MCC was assigned Rs 6033 million target for said period while it earned Rs 6986 million under all heads.

Majid stated that Collector MCC Islamabad praised all the officials and officers of MCC Islamabad to showed outstanding performance during July to October but specially for month of October. The Collector said that MCC will continue its efforts to meet the assigned revenue collection target during remaining months of 2018-19.
