Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again expressed his unwillingness to attend Saarc Summit in Islamabad, Aaj News reported on Sunday. The issue of Islamabad Saarc Summit came up for discussion during a meeting between Modi and his Nepalese counterpart K P Sharma Oli, who was in India on a three-day visit.

Talking to reporters, Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale disclosed this, hurling oft-repeated baseless charges of cross-border terrorism that had always been rebuffed by Pakistan government. Indian official said the Nepalese prime minister told Modi he was looking forward to host the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation Summit this year. That BIMSTEC excludes Pakistan. Gokhale said Oli also gave a 'positive reference' to the sub-regional Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) initiative.
