Isolated rain with a light snow over the hills is expected in Quetta, Zhob and Malakand Divisions, besides FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Monday. Mainly cold and dry weather is likely to grip the most parts of the country over the period. "Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A Shallow westerly wave is likely to affect western parts of the country on Tuesday," it said.

Temperature in Kalam and Skardu was minus 6 degrees Celsius each, Astore minus 4, Gilgit minus 3, and Gupis, Dir, Hunza and Bagrote minus 2 each. Cold and dry prevailed in the most parts of the country in the last 24 hours.
