Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has requested the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the date for e-filing the monthly statements under section 165 for January 2018 till February 26, 2018. In a letter sent to the chairman FBR, the KTBA stated that they were facing numerous problems in e-filing of monthly statements for January 2018 under section 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, which were due on February 15, 2018, due to non-working of the IRIS since February 12, 2018.

In view of the above, the KTBA has requested the board to extend the date of e-filing the monthly statements under section 165 for the month of January 2018 at till February 26, 2018 to facilitate the taxpayers.
