Chairman Pakistani Awami Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri has postponed the path of agitation and said he will adopt the political and legal course to seek justice for 14 workers killed and about one hundred injured in police firing at his headquarters in Model town in June 2014. He was addressing a press conference after a day long consultations with members of his party's federal council here on Sunday.

He said several events have overtaken the political horizon of the nation including SSP Rao Anwar's killing of people in fake police encounters, Zainab rape and murder case and other incidents of terrorism of which the apex court has taken sou moto notice.

He appealed to the CJP to also order an independent JIT to investigate the tragedy of Model Town and bring the police officials and their protectors to book. He reiterated that days of Sharif brothers were numbered and their fate sealed.
