Ch Amir Sultan Cheema, PML-Q MPA, tabled an adjournment motion in the Punjab Assembly over the embezzlement of funds in construction of trauma centres in various provincial hospitals. The adjournment motion said the Punjab Employees Social Security officials had prepared fake documents to embezzle funds worth millions of rupees.

The audit department had pointed out the embezzlement of funds, however, no meeting of special departmental accounts committee has been taken place so far.
