Prime Minister Tuesday granted the status of federal minister to Haroon Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue. A Cabinet Division notification issued in this regard said: "In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 15(1) (g), red with item at serial No.1A of Schedule-VA of the Rules of Business, 1973, the Prime Minister has been pleased to grant the status of Federal Minister to Haroon Khan, Special Assistant to the prime Minister on Revenue, with immediate effect."
