In the light of the directions of the Punjab Government, Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has introduced different colour uniforms for its 1300 employees of up to Grade IV. Cadres in this regard are ward boy, office staff, ward Aya, security guard and sweepers who would be bound to wear relevant uniform.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Professor Ghais un Nabi Tayyab, talking in this context has said that this step would help in establishing discipline and it would also improve the standard of services for the patients. According to the details all ward boys would wear cream off white shalwar kameez with black waist coat, black sweater, black jogger and black socks. while office staff will be wearing white shalwar kameez with black waskit and black shoes & socks. Similarly, ward Aya would wear cream shalwar kameex, cream dupatta, black sweater and black jogger and black socks. All security guards of Lahore General Hospital would be bound to use sky blue shirt, navy blue pants, black shows, black socks, navy blue sweater, and navy blue cap with hospital monogram.
