Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), Jhanzaib Burana has said that South Korean companies have shown keen interest to invest in healthcare projects related to education, food and environment. He revealed this while giving a briefing to Punjab Minister of Industries, Commerce and Trade Sheikh Alla-u-Din at his office on Friday. He said the PBIT has signed memorandums of understanding with Chang Co. Ltd and C&S Co. Ltd.

Chang Co. Ltd deals in information technology and consultancy in public welfare services while C&S Co. Ltd is an investment company operating as private equity fund, specializing in infrastructure investment, project management and consultancy on local and global scale, he added. The minister said that healthcare is a key sector and Punjab has accomplished major reforms in this sector. He directed the PBIT to provide all necessary facilities and assistance to the foreign investors.
