Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said the nation whose sons are filled with the passion to sacrifice their lives cannot be defeated by any enemy. He said this during his visit to the residence of 21-year old 2nd Lieutenant Abdul Moeed who embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan.

He met with the parents and other siblings of the martyred Abdul Moeed and offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Paying rich tributes to the sacrifice of martyred Abdul Moeed for the country, Shahbaz said that he has set an example of bravery and courage by embracing martyrdom at the younger age.

"The brave sons of the country sacrificing their lives for the motherland are our real heroes and the sons like Abdul Moeed are pride of the soil," he said, adding: "The people of Pakistan are proud of the great sacrifice of martyred Abdul Moeed."

He also announced to attribute a project in Vehari to the name of martyred 2nd Lieutenant Abdul Moeed. Moreover, an elderly couple from Multan Muhammad Idrees along with his wife Nasim Bibi who was subjected to police torture met Shahbaz Sharif and thanked him for solving their 30 years old issue. Nasim Bibi said that the issue pertaining to their land has been solved and they are happy over it.
