Five matches were decided on the opening day of the 36th All Pakistan Inter-University Higher Education Commission Women's Hockey Championship 2017-18, which get underway here at Johar Town Hockey Stadium. On the opening day, women hockey teams of the Punjab University, University of Sargodha, Lahore College Women University, GCU Faisalabad and Superior University won their matches. The championship will continue till 6th January, 2018.
