The United States has announced it is suspending the transfer of military equipment and security-related funds to Pakistan, Aaj News reported late on Thursday night. "Today we can confirm that we are suspending security assistance only to Pakistan at this time," a spokesperson for the US State Department, Heather Nauert said at a press briefing.

She said that Pakistan could receive the suspended funding if it takes 'decisive' actions against terrorists.
