Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) Wednesday disconnected power supply to Kari Haider and dozens of villagers in districts Tank and D.I. Khan from 58 distribution transformers due to non-payment of arrears amounting to Rs 131.7 million. On the directives of Chief Executive PESCO, Engineer Shabir Ahmad Pesco teams of D.I.Khan City Division disconnected power supply to Bads and other villages of 11 KV Gomal feeders due to nonpayment of Rs 8.6 million.

Power supply was also disconnected to Yasin Wala of 11 KV Landi Wa-1,2 feeders for nonpayment of Rs 1.757 million while power supply was also disconnected to Pagima, Gadimissen, from 10 transformers due to nonpayment of Rs 0.996 million, power supply disconnected to Multani Mangi from 2 transformers due to nonpayment of Rs 0.647 million. Similarly teams of D.I.Khan Rural Division disconnected power supply to Fazal ur Rehman Ice factory in Mali Khel areas due to nonpayment of Rs 1.020 million, Kala Gora village from 5 distribution transformers due to nonpayment of Rs 2.018 million, Tata of 11 KV Awan feeder from 5 transformers due to nonpayment of Rs 2.437 million, new Karachi and Kharwala from 5 transformers due to nonpayment of Rs 2.851 million, Sagu of 11 KV Sagu due to nonpayment of Rs 2.328 million while power supply to Fateh Khan village was also disconnected due to nonpayment of arrear.
