Religious parties have finalized protest rallies in support of their demand for resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah. The purpose of these rallies is to build up pressure against the Punjab government. According to details, Tehreek-e-Sirat-e-Mustaqeem will hold a rally from Data Darbar to the Assembly Hall on 4th January. Tehreek-e-Labbaik will hold a protest gathering on 4th January in Islamabad. Sunni Tehreek will take out a train march from Islamabad to Karachi on 5th January. The Muttahida Ulema Council will protest in front of the Punjab Assembly on 6th January.

Meanwhile, a deadline set by the All Parties Conference will be concluded on January 7 that would be followed by a meeting of the steering committee to chalk out future protests.
