The Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Dr Rizwan Naseer formally inaugurated a four-day long course for establishing Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) in all union councils of Punjab held at the Managers Training Centre (MTC), Rescue 1122 Headquarters here on Tuesday. The Cadre course has been organized for capacity building of 24 Rescue and Safety Officers (RSOs) so that they could be able to play key role in building of safer communities across the Punjab by involving CERTs. While addressing the opening ceremony, DG Rescue Punjab said that the basic purpose of running such courses is to enhance capacity of the managers to maintain service standards in all districts of the Punjab.
