The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has produced five more PhDs, totaling the number 1,610. The five scholars including Zahida Kousar from National Institute of Food Science and Technology; Umair Talib from Institute of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development; Hafiz Basheer Ahmad from Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics; Muhammad Awais Khalid from Institute of Soil and Environmental Sciences and Sobia Noor from Institute of Soil and Environmental Sciences have passed their final examination for the degree of PhD (2017).
