  • Comments Off on Trump willing to stop ‘aid’ to Pakistan: Haley
US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley on Tuesday said that the Trump administration is prepared to suspend all aid to Pakistan until the latter stops alleged harbouring of terrorists that attack US troops in Afghanistan. According to Aaj News channel, Haley at the United Nations told reporters that Pakistan failed to fully cooperate in the fight against terrorism hence US is withholding $255 million aid to Islamabad.

She alleged that Pakistan has been playing a double game for years as the latter works with US, and also harbours the terrorists who attack US troops in Afghanistan. She said this attitude is not acceptable to US administration. She said that US expects more cooperation from Pakistan in the fight against terrorism. She asserted that President Trump is willing to stop all funding to Pakistan. Haley also insisted Pakistan aid issue is not connected to the vote on Jerusalem.
