The office bearers of different growers' organizations have announced the postponement of their protest on sugarcane issues following the assurance of the government that the sugar mills of the province would start production within couple of days.

Addressing a joint press conference here on Monday, the office bearers of different growers organization under "Abadgar Action Committee" Nawab Zubair Talpur, Abdul Majeed Nizamani, Zahid Bhurgari, Nadim Shah, Mehmood Nawaz Shah and others informed that Sindh Ministers Sohail Anwar Sial and Nasir Hussain Shah have held meeting with them and assured that the sugar mills would start functioning in Sindh within couples of days. On such assurance for provincial government, they informed that Abadgar Action Committee has postponed their protest temporarily.
