Chairman Board of Directors (BoDs) of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Nawabzada Arsalan Khan Hoti has said that the proposal has presented to divide Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) in to three regions in order to facilitate consumers of the province.

Talking to the newly elected office bearers of Mardan Press Club on Saturday, the board chairman said that in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan, WAPDA was divided in to several companies while in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa only Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) is working in the whole province which creates a lot of problems for the masses of the province.

He said that the proposal is on table to divide Pesco in to three regions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, Mardan and Hazara region. He added that after the division into the three regions in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa the line losses will be decreased and the mafia will be also finished. He added this decision will also facilitate the masses of the province.

Arsalan Khan, who is also district general secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, said that the federal government has also strengthened the economy of the country. He added that Mian Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and PML-N leadership is lover of Pakistan and due to this reason they put the country on the way of development and prosperity.

He claimed that PML-N will win majority of the seats in all over the country and especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to its good performance. He took credit that PML-led federal government had taken steps to pull out the country from current energy crisis and resolve the issues of masses on their doorsteps.

Arsalan Khan appreciated the efforts of federal government and said that despite of sit-ins and other crises in the country PML-N federal government has finish load-shedding from the country and fulfilled its promise. Earlier, he congratulated the newly elected cabinet of the press club and said that media is the most powerful entity on earth. He said that media is considered more important these days.
