The United Business Group (UGB) led by Iftikhar Malik and S. M. Muneer deserves commendations and congratulations for making a clean sweep in the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) annual elections. According to newspaper reports, the UBG candidate Ghazanfar Ali Bilour and Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir have been elected as President and Senior Vice President of FPCCI, respectively, for the year 2018.

The newly-elected office-bearers are expected to address the issues of the business community with a view to providing its members much-awaited relief. They must therefore work harder in the greater interest of country's economy in particular.
