Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Thursday met PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at his Jati Umra residence and discussed various issues including the country's current political and economic situation.

Sources claimed that both the leaders discussed political situation of the country and strategy as a part of preparations for 2018 general elections and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Reforms Bill 2017.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present during the meeting. PM Abbasi apprised Nawaz Sharif about reservations of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on FATA Reforms Bill 2017. The sources further said that PM Abbasi also apprised Nawaz Sharif about his recent meetings with political leaders.
