"Today, you are appearing in exams, here; soon you will be serving Pakistan through effective utilization of expertise to be gained from this platform," he said, speaking to the candidates. He said that economy of the country was facing challenges primarily due to lack of planning and professionalism; however, he expressed hope that the trained youth from the Saylani IT training platform would help expand the country's economy to $1 billion per annum.
Bashir said the IT training initiative was led by Sir Zia Khan who had an honour to receive 'Most Valuable Professional' awards from the Microsoft, eight times. Chairman of Sindh Engro Coal Mining, Khorsheed Jamali, chairman of Sindh Technical Board Dr Masroor and other prominent persons also spoke on the occasion.
