During its seven operations in its region, ANF Lahore recovered 300 grams Hashish from one Muhammad Shaan in Sialkot. It recovered 1.2 kg Hashish from another drug offender Muhammad Yousaf in Vehari district. ANF Lahore conducted a joint operation with Punjab Rangers near district Kasur and recovered 5 kg Heroin from four persons. ANF Lahore also seized 1 kg Heroin by intercepting two parcels being sent to Canada through a courier service. It intercepted a Suzuki Cultus and recovered 14.4 kg Hashish concealed in secret cavities of the car. Two persons were arrested at the spot. It also arrested a peddler after recovering 120 grams Opium from his possession in Kot Khawaja Saeed, Lahore. It seized 350 grams Heroin by intercepting a UK bound parcel being sent through a courier service company office in Lahore, ANF Lahore recovered 820 grams Heroin from a parcel being sent to UK through courier Service Company at China Chowk, Wazirabad.
ANF Karachi arrested a Nigerian namely Charies Ezeugo lgwelatu at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi and recovered 440 grams Heroin as he was flying to Nigeria. It also recovered 2.2 kg Hashish and arrested an accused Mumtaz Mallah from Tando Jam. ANF Karachi arrested three persons all residents of Karachi at Jinnah International Airport, and recovered 500 grams Methamphetamine from their possession while traveling to Saudi Arabia. ANF Quetta in an intelligence based operation in Quetta recovered 190 kg Acetone from a person identified as Ayub Khan and later apprehended him.
ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a UK destined parcel at a courier service company office and recovered 430 gram Heroin concealed in the parcel. It intercepted a Toyota Vitz near Khana Pul, Islamabad and recovered 220 grams Heroin concealed in its Dashboard. Two persons one of them a citizen of Nigeria were apprehended during the operation. ANF Peshawar intercepted a Suzuki Mehran at Charsadda Road, Peshawar and recovered 16.8 kg Hashish concealed in rear seat of the car and arrested two persons. It also arrested a woman resident of Khyber Agency traveling in a passenger vehicle in Peshawar and recovered 6.6 kg Hashish. ANF Peshawar stopped a suspected Suzuki Alto in Peshawar and recovered 8.7 kg Hashish and arrested the drug peddler. It also arrested an offender traveling to Saudi Arabia at Peshawar International Airport on suspicion of ingested narco-filled capsules in his stomach and recovered 290 grams Heroin and 300 grams Amphetamine filled in capsules.
ANF Peshawar recovered 1.2 kg Hashish by arresting an accused while he was traveling in a bus near Motorway Toll Plaza, Peshawar. It recovered 3 kg Hashish from two accused residents of Abbottabad near Shahiz Stop, KKH, Haripur. The spokesman said that cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations against all offenders and further investigations are underway.
