Pakistan Customs has agreed to give go-ahead for dray-off containers from ports with no fresh examination. The Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) said this was decided after meeting with Chief Collector of Customs South (Enforcement) Manzoor Memon at Customs House on the other day. It was decided that Goods Declarations (GDs) wherein system allowed loading in Green channel or the loading permission has been granted by customs after examination, the dray-off containers would be allowed by the customs immediately with no fresh examination, the KCAA said.

Furthermore, it said that chief collector also issued instructions to follow one system for filing of both FCL and LCL cargos and directed the Directorate Reforms and Automation to accelerate the pace for finalizing Change Request Form.
