In a joint effort, the WWF-Pakistan and Sindh Wildlife Department teams have rescued a female Indus dolphin in the Mehrab Minor, Hilani, District Benazirabad. The WWF-Pakistan on Tuesday said that the teams carried out an operation to rescue an Indus dolphin measuring 5.5 feet long and weighing 20 kilograms, some 100 kilometres from Sukkur. Rescued dolphin was released back into the river last Monday.
