The committee further recommended the recruitment process for teachers and other concerned staffs. The convener of the committee said that schools for the children of labourers living in the far-flung and border areas of Balochistan are needed. The federal government is taking several steps for the development of the province and the committee would help in the early releases of funds from the federal government, especially for the education sector development.
Mandokhel said that expenses on children education do not go into waste as it is the future of this country. Senator Yaqoob Nasir said that there is need of focusing more on Balochistan. More schools should be built to accommodate children of all labourers, he added. The secretary of the ministry said that steps are being taken for building more schools.
The secretary Welfare Board said that decision to build girls technical school has been taken as well as for the recruitment of teachers and other staff. The committee termed the donation of 100 acres of land from Saeedul Hassan Mandokhel for construction of boys and girls high schools and polytechnic institute as education-friendly. Senator Yaqoob Nasir, Secretary Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Secretary Workers Welfare Board and officials from Balochistan participated in the meeting.
