He directed the concerned officers of health department to remain vigilant and ensure all necessary and life saving medicines at Taluka Hospital Sehwan. The meeting discussed about the casualties due to heart attack, road accident and drowning incidents during the Urs.
While briefing, the Medical Superintendent of Taluka Hospital Sehwan, Dr Moinuddin informed that 7 casualties have been reported yet during the Urs including 3 of heart attack, 2 deaths of children due to drowning and 2 casualties of road accidents were reported while there was not any case of heat stroke was reported. He said that life saving drugs and all necessary medical facilities were available in Taluka Hospital Sehwan besides 47 medical camps were also established on Indus Highway and other places to meet any emergency.
The Incharge Mobile Hospital Unit, Dr Sandeep Kumaar informed the meeting that more than 500 devotees were given medical treatment in two days of Urs. The Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro while expressing his satisfaction over the health facilities being provided to the devotees said that more than 100 ambulances of district administration, PPHI and other NGOs were available at Taluka Hospital and other places. He told that all the available resources were being utilised to provide better medical facilities to the devotees during the Urs.
