On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,950. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.603 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,865. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 927.009 million, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 857.566 million, WTI crude oil PKR 700.854 million, silver PKR 82.434 million, copper PKR 33.795 million and Brent crude oil PKR 1.437 million.
