Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), former Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) has recently signed an agreement with 1LINK, the largest payment switch in Pakistan to facilitate its customers with digital banking services across the country. The launching ceremony was held at 1LINK's Office in Karachi.

Through this partnership, ZTBL's customer's use all Pakistan's ATM & other offerings of 1LINK including Inter Bank Funds Transfer ie instant real time transfer of funds between accounts and Bill Payment Services. The collaboration will also empower ZTBL customers to request PayPak cards which will be accepted on all ATM & POS network across Pakistan.

The agreement was signed by Syed Talat Mahmood, President ZTBL and Najeeb Agrawala, CEO 1LINK (Guarantee) Limited in the presence of Aamir Zaffar Chaudhry, Executive Vice President - ZTBL, Muhammad Iqbal Abbasi, Executive Vice President -ZTBL and Bashir Khan, Head of Operations-1LINK (Guarantee) Limited.

Speaking at the occasion, Syed Talat Mahmood, President ZTBL said, "ZTBL is comparatively late in the digital banking domain; however, our plans are to leap ahead of other banks in shortest possible time, keeping in view the current market situation and ZTBL'S geographical presence in rural and less developed areas of the country". Najeeb Agrawala, CEO 1LINK (Guarantee)Limited said at the occasion, "This agreement shall enable us to move forward jointly and will increase the capacity to facilitate and serve the needs of the bank's client and bridge the financial divide".-PR
