At least four Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were injured on Monday when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle in Dasht tehsil of Kharan District in Balochistan. According to details, the security forces' vehicle was on a routine patrol when the bomb went off, apparently detonated by remote control. The bomb disposal squad said the explosives were planted at the roadside. The wounded personnel were shifted to CMH for medical treatment.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. The incident took place three days after a suicide bomb blast targeted the convoy of Senate's Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri in Mastung district, roughly an hour east of provincial capital Quetta.
