Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Friday said that he was proceeding with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Peoples' Republic of China to attend a big road show to be participated by heads of 28 countries. Addressing a reception here at his home district Nowshera, he said China wanted to take world along with its development strategy by developing land roads and through sea connectivity.

He claimed that the agreements he had struck with Chinese government in the recent KP road show in Beijing were progressing in right way as the Chinese firms and consortium have reached KP for striking $24 billion agreements. He said investors from China and other countries were also taking interest to invest in KP that would usher a new era of industrial and trade revolution in the region.

The Chief Minister said the previous provincial governments did not pay any heed to the problems of the province and mostly involved themselves in nepotism and corrupt practices. He said that PTI led KP government appointed 45,000 teachers to meet the shortfall of teachers in government schools and added that all the appointments were made on merit.
