Army says Pakistan and Afghanistan military officials have agreed to increase the number of bilateral interactions through various command and staff channels to foster an environment of mutual respect, trust and co-operation. A military statement released Friday says the two sides met to discuss measures for improving military to military co-ordination and co-operation. The Chaman incident, which left casualties on both sides of the border last week, border control and management, and measures to curb cross-border fire violations were also discussed in the meeting attended by military officials.
