Sirajul Haq said that the residents of Gawadar, Pasni and Jevani had a right over the ports and the sea water in the area and nobody could be allowed to deprive them of that. The JI chief said that the real problem facing the country was the lack of justice, not lack of resources. Besides, he said, there was negligible implementation of the constitution and the law. He said that corruption to the tune of Rs 12 billion was going on in the country per day.
He said that if the huge amount being drained out due to VIP culture, corruption, nepotism and unlawful and unnecessary projects was saved, every citizen of the country could be provided free education, health and other basic civic facilities. Haq said that the ruling elite, including Nawabzadas, Khanzadas, Chaudhries and the feudal lords could only safeguard the interest of their own class and would never desire the masses to prosper. He said that all the political parties in the county except the JI had hereditary leadership.
