During checking in the areas of Deh Bahadar Sub-Division of Khyber Circle nabbed 6 direct connections industrial and commercial consumers. A fine of Rs 1 million was recovered from them. In the areas of Resalpur Sub-Division 15 domestic consumers were nabbed while in the areas of Landi Arbab Sub-Division, direct connections of 3 water supply schemes were nabbed.
Similarly, during the checking in the areas of Wazir Bagh Sub-Division direct connections of a plaza and 2 domestic connections while in the premises of Toru, Gujar Ghari and Lund Khawar Sub-Divisions, 42 domestic connections were nabbed for illegal use of electricity. Meanwhile, Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Javed Saleem Qureshi visited Pesco Head Quarters and held an important meeting with Pesco's Officers. The Chief Executive Pesco Engineer ShabirAhmad, Chief Executive TESCO Engineer Zakaullah Ghandapur, General Manager (GM), Pesco Dr Muhammad Amjad Khan, Chief Engineer (Operation) Pesco Muhammad Iqbal Marwat, Chief Engineer (O&M) Mian Hamid, Arbab Khuda Dad Khan and Pesco's engineers attended the meeting. Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council, Javed Saleem Qureshi said that Engineers are the backbone of any department and are playing an important role for the development of a Department.
He reiterated that for the enhancement of engineer's role he will cooperate with them. He further said that work has been accelerated for the construction of Offices for the Pakistan Engineers Council. The Chief Executive Pesco Engineers Shabir Ahmad thanked to Chairman Pakistan Engineers Council for coming and holding such an important meeting with them.
