The statement presented in the provincial assembly showed that agriculture sector was allocated Rs 3.991 billion and after surrendering Rs 1.180 billion, this allocation declined to Rs 2.810 billion against which the provincial government has so far release an amount of Rs 2.096 billion.
There was no cut on the budget for Auqaf & Minority Affairs to which a fund of Rs 277.500 million has been released against the total allocated fund of Rs 366 million, which is 75% of the allocation. A fund of Rs 393.602 million has been released to the Mines & Mineral Development against the total budget of Rs 622 million, which is 63% of the total allocated fund while in head of labour welfare, a fund of Rs 20.527 million has been released against the total allocation of Rs 85 million, which is 24% of the allocated amount.
The Home & Tribal Affairs department was released Rs 1815 million against the allocated amount of Rs 2420 million and Social Welfare have received 75% of the total allocated funds while Food department and Forestry have been released 22% and 89% of the budget respectively. The highest ratio of 97% fund is released for the development schemes of Finance department, which has so far received Rs 1848 million against the revised allocation of Rs 1914.521 million.
