Criminal elements have gone on rampage, especially in the limits of Lohi Bher and Ramana police stations, during the aforesaid period. Lohi Bher Police Station registered two cases of robbery and one case of auto theft. Ahmad Ejaz of Bahria Town lodged a complaint with the Lohi Bher Police Station that unknown robbers had stolen two laptops, one I-pad and a video camera from his house.
In another incident, Ali Haider registered a complaint with Lohi Bher Police Station that four unknown armed robbers stormed into his shop and snatched cash and six mobile phones at gunpoint. Auto thieves also stole a car (WW-839) of Arshad Butt from Soan Garden.
Ramana Police Station registered two cases of robbery last week. Nabeen Ahmad of sector G-10/2 lodged a complaint with Ramana Police Station that gold ornaments and cash had been stolen from his house. He suspected that his servant Shams Mashi might be involved in this rubbery.
During the period, Nasir Ahmad of sector G-10 informed Ramana Police Station that unknown robbers broke into his house and took away gold ornaments, an LED and other valuables. Bani Gala, Secretariat, Noon and Margalla police stations registered one case each of robbery, while Aabpara and Shalimar police stations registered one each case of auto theft.
During the period under review, Bhara Kahu and Nilor police stations registered one case each of kidnapping and murder. Nazima Shaheen lodged a complaint with the Nilor police station that the accused Umer Hussain had killed his son Taqweem Ahmad. In another incident, Muhammad Saddique lodged a complaint with the Bhara Kahu Police Station that accused Jamila along with her three accomplices had kidnapped his daughter.
