Pakistan People's Party announced names of new office-bearers of the party's chapters among which Dr Asim, a close-aide of Asif Zardari was made PPP Karachi chapter president while Senator Saeed Ghani was named as general secretary. Deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Syeda Shehla Raza has been made information secretary of the PPP Karachi chapter.

Qamar Zaman Kaira, Jamil Soomro and other officials announced the names of new office bearers. Humayun Khan was named as PPP President for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Faisal Karim Kundi as general secretary while Rubina Khalid is the new information secretary for the KP chapter. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in consultation with other party members, appointed Haji Ali Muhammad Jatak as PPP Balochistan president, Ejaz Baloch as deputy secretary and Sarbuland Khan as information secretary, respectively.
