Renowned educationist and former Vice Chancellor of Karachi University Professor Dr Abdul Wahab passed away at a hospital in Karachi. He was admitted to hospital on Monday due to serious illness, a private news channel reported. According to his son Babar Wahab, his father was suffering from cancer. Wahab was 77. He had been hospitalised several times in the recent past.

Wahab remained associated with the Karachi University (KU), the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), and Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) on top positions during his distinguished career. Wahab completed his masters in business administration from the IBA and obtained another from Indiana in the United States of America.
