A guardian court on Wednesday issued warrants for the arrest of Fizza Batool, daughter of former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, for not allowing her former husband to meet their son. The plaintiff Khurram Khan contended that the court in its previous order had directed his former wife, Fizza to arrange a meeting of her minor son Asfandyar with the plaintiff.

However, the defendant never obeyed the court's order as she did not allow the plaintiff to meet his son. The plaintiff urged to the court to take action against the defendant for violating a court's order. The presiding judge of the guardian court, Shazia Makhdoom, issued arrest warrants for Fizza Batool Gillani and directed the police to produce her before the court on the next date of hearing - September 03.
