Widespread rains and thundershower accompanied by strong gusty winds damaged many houses in Quetta and some other parts of Balochistan on Thursday. Aaj News reported that walls of dozens of houses were collapsed on Sariab Road. Dents on earth were visible in Muslimabad, posing threats to some 400 houses in the locality and its surrounding areas.

Nullahs and canals were flooded with rainwater in some rural areas of Balochistan. People were asked to shift to safer places to avoid losses because their katcha houses could be damaged due to flooding in the surroundings.
