Medical test of alleged terror facilitator Dr Asim Hussain was conducted at Jinnah Hospital here on Tuesday. Law Enforcement Agencies maintained a strict security plan for arrival of former petroleum minister at the hospital. The personnel brought the terror accused for a medical check-up after an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had ordered the authorities to approach accountability court (AC) in the matter.

A complete neural scan was carried out at Jinnah Hospital's MRI Ward. Tight security arrangements were ensured in and around the hospital. Earlier in the past week, Dr Asim demanded during hearing of terror case in ATC that he needs to visit a hospital for check-up. The former minister is facing a terror case that was registered in North Nazimabad Police Station in November 2015. The accused is alleged of treating target killers and militants in his hospital in Karachi. The alleged terror facilitator provided safe havens to terrorists in name of medical treatment.
