Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar has seized goods and vehicles worth Rs 646.982 million during the first two quarters of the current financial year 2015-16. The value of goods seized during the period was Rs 375.182 million while 119 vehicles seized under Section 157 were valuing Rs 108.800 million. Furthermore, the Collectorate during the period also seized 87 vehicles valuing Rs 131 million under Section 16 of the Customs Act.

During the month of July, goods and 22 vehicles valuing Rs 35.172325 million were seized under Section 157 and Under Section 16 while 26 vehicles and goods valued Rs 64.343210 million were seized in the month of August. In September 28 vehicles and goods valuing Rs 85.921450 million, October goods and vehicles 199.101640 million, goods, vehicles valuing Rs 125.798706 million in November and goods and vehicles worth Rs 136.643075 million were seized in December, respectively.
