Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of a plea filed against special court's verdict to return passport to model Ayyan Ali in currency smuggling case. A single member bench led by Justice Athar Minallah adjourned the hearing of the matter due to non-availability of Ayyan's counsel Sardar Latif Khosa whose associate informed the court that Khosa was busy in Lahore High Court.

The bench issued directives to ensure presence of the lawyer in the case saying jurisdiction and maintainability of the matter would be decided during next date of proceedings. Later, hearing was adjourned for a week.
